About WOR

Who we are

War of Resistance started as one squad that kept queueing together and grew into a community running its own server. We're not the biggest Squad community and don't want to be. We want the server where squads actually communicate, admins actually answer, and a ban actually means something happened.

What we stand for

Non-negotiables

Teamwork first

The game is the squad

Squad is built around 9 people working together. Everything we run, from seeding nights to training rounds to the rules themselves, exists to protect that.

Fair calls

Evidence over vibes

Admins act on what they can show, not what they feel. No ban leaves the server without evidence attached or a review flag raised.

Respect the server

Shared space, shared standard

A hundred people share each round. Behavior that makes the server worse for them, like trolling, griefing, or mic spam, gets dealt with quickly.

The rules

Summaries by section

Eight sections cover everything from conduct to seeding. These are the short versions. Open the full rules for the exact text you agree to by playing here.

Respect everyone. Zero tolerance for hate speech, harassment, flaming, mic or chat spam, doxxing, and inappropriate player or squad names. If someone breaks the rules, report them instead of retaliating.

Play the objective in good faith and welcome new players. Squad Leaders and Commander are expected to communicate and coordinate; English is the primary command-net language. Locked squads need a clear purpose and at least 4 members.

Use assets with intent to help the team: no wasting, abandoning, or trolling. Crew vehicles need real crews with crewman kits and a clear, unique squad-name claim. Kits and vehicles can't be gated on playtime alone, and main-base camping is restricted (300m small maps, 600m otherwise).

No cheating, exploiting, ghosting, or stream sniping. No intentional teamkilling or griefing. Evading a ban with alt accounts or VPNs can make it permanent, and impersonating staff or other players is prohibited.

Until the server goes live, fight over the designated seed objective. Don't rush main, push deep, or grief seed HABs. Normal rules resume once LIVE is called.

Admins may warn, kick, or ban to protect the server, with discipline proportional to the offense and the same rules for everyone, staff included. Actions are backed by evidence such as logs, recordings, and admin cam. False or revenge reports are themselves punishable.

Report problems via Discord, tickets, or in-game admin chat with names, time, and evidence where possible. Appeals go through the ticket system with your Steam name, SteamID64, and what happened; they're reviewed against the filed evidence. You may always raise concerns directly with OWI.

Discord conduct can affect game-server access. No drama campaigns against other communities, no malicious content, keep topics in the right channels, and take moderation disputes to the appeal system instead of public channels.
